Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions founders, SMEs and professionals ask us most. Choose a topic to jump straight to it.

Getting Started

We work with first-time founders, startups, SMEs and family businesses, diaspora investors, NGOs, schools and training providers, and professionals and academics who want to grow their careers through international conferences and trainings. If you have a business idea, a business that needs structure, or a goal that involves travelling for learning and networking, we can help.

The advisory ladder is how we take clients from idea to independence, one step at a time:

  • Validate: test your business idea with real market research and a feasibility study.
  • Formalise: register your business and sort out licensing, tax and compliance.
  • Brand: build a visual identity, website and digital presence that customers trust.
  • Support: mentoring and hands-on guidance until you can run things confidently on your own.

You can start at any step. If you already have a registered business, for example, we can begin with branding or support.

No. Many of our clients come to us with just an idea. Our Business Idea Validation and Feasibility Studies services are designed for exactly that stage, so you can find out whether an idea is worth pursuing before you invest heavily in it.

As long as you need us, and no longer. Our Business Support & Mentoring service runs on flexible monthly plans with regular check-ins, and our goal is to make you independent. Most clients step down to occasional support within 6 to 12 months.

Yes. Your first 30-minute discovery call is free and comes with no obligation. We will learn about your goals, answer your questions and recommend the right next step. If we are a good fit, we will send you a clear written proposal with scope, timelines and fees.

Registration & Compliance

It depends on the business structure and the registry, but a sole proprietorship or limited liability company is usually registered within one to three weeks once all documents are ready. We prepare and check your documents, handle the filing, and keep you updated at every stage, so delays from incomplete paperwork are rare.

That depends on your goals, the number of owners, your appetite for risk and how you plan to raise money. In a short consultation we compare the options with you, such as sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company or non-profit, and explain the tax, liability and reporting implications of each before you decide.

Yes. Through our Licensing, Tax & Compliance service, we help you get the sector permits and licences you need, register for taxes, set up a simple compliance calendar and stay on top of annual returns and renewals, so you avoid penalties and stay in good standing.

Branding & Digital Presence

A typical package includes a brand discovery session, logo design with variations, a colour palette and typography, and a simple brand guide showing how to use them consistently. We can add business cards, letterheads, social media templates and signage, depending on what your business needs.

Yes. Our Website & Digital Presence service covers mobile-friendly, search-optimised websites, Google Business Profile setup, professional email, and social media pages set up and branded properly. We also train you or your team to update the website and post content yourselves.

Yes. Once your invoices are paid in full, you own your final logo files, brand assets and website. Domains and hosting are registered in your business name, never ours, so you are always in control.

Conferences & Visas

We start with your goals, whether that is learning a new skill, presenting research, meeting investors or finding partners, and shortlist credible international conferences, trainings and events that fit your field, budget and timeline. We then handle the registration or application process with you.

We give you a personalised document checklist, review your documents for gaps, help you prepare invitation and support letters, complete the application form, book your appointment and prepare you for the interview where one is required. Visa assistance is bundled with our conference and event placement service.

No one can honestly guarantee a visa. The decision rests solely with the embassy or consulate. What we do is make sure your application is complete, accurate and well presented, which gives it the strongest possible chance. We will never submit false or misleading documents.

Ideally three to six months before the event. Popular conferences fill up, and visa appointment waiting times can be long during peak seasons. The earlier you contact us, the more options you will have.
